Whiteface Lodge

A Luxury Lake Placid Lodge & Resort

Evoking the Gilded Age splendor of the historic Adirondack Great
Camps in its rustic timber design, Whiteface Lodge is tucked into the picturesque
woodlands of the Adirondacks’ High Peaks region in Upstate New York. The village
of Lake Placid, home to two Winter Olympic Games and a wealth of year-round
attractions, lies within walking distance. And surrounding it all, six million
spectacular mountain acres of Adirondack Park—the largest protected area in the
U.S. mainland. The breathtaking variety of geography provides plenty of outdoor
activities. However, on-site amenities are plentiful as well, making the lodge one
of the most alluring Lake Placid resorts.

Your Lodging Adventure Awaits

Our luxurious lodging sets us apart from other Adirondack resorts. Rustic design
translates to warm woods, antlers, and other forest-inspired decor in the full
kitchens, common areas, and bedrooms of each suite. Due to the modern amenities
and gorgeous views of Adirondack Park from the private cedar and mahogany
balconies, stays at Whiteface Lodge are incomparable to other Adirondack
mountain resorts. Between one-bedroom suites and a Presidential Suite that
sleeps six to 12 guests, Whiteface Lodge can accommodate groups of many sizes.
New Yorkers choose our Adirondack mountain resort for business, pleasure, and
even weddings, thanks to our many on-site venues.

Bountiful Indoor and Outdoor Amenities

In addition to spacious, lavish suites, Whiteface Lodge has several on-site amenities
that elevated its status. Our Lake Placid spa has been listed in the Top 100
spas in North America by Conde Nast Traveler, complete with services like
massages, facials, and body and nail treatments. Coupled with yoga and exercise
classes in our fitness center, guests will never feel more on top of their health
and self-care routines. Guests can stay active recreationally by paying visits to
the tennis courts, pools, winter ice skating rink (our ice skating rink is now closed for the season), and Lake Placid in the summer
for kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, and more. Or, a few hours inside the game
room, movie theater, or bowling alley make for an entertaining afternoon.
Children’s programs at this Lake Placid lodge are extensive too, offering arts
and crafts, scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, science experiments, and more.

Besides boasting the best spa in Lake Placid, Whiteface Lodge is also proud to
present the KANU Dining Room, one of the best restaurants in Lake Placid.
Culinary experiences here will blow guests away, whether it’s the three-course
meals, the wine list, or the dessert menu.
