Spray Tanning

Before Your Session:
- For best results, please shower at least 3 hours before your appointment. Shave, wax, and exfoliate at least 24 hours prior to allow the skin time to recover and help ensure an even application. On the day of your session, please avoid lotions, oils, makeup, sunscreen, perfume, deodorant, and other oil-based products, as they may affect the development of the tanning solution. Moisturize well in the days leading up to your appointment, but not on the day of your service. Exfoliation is essential for a smooth, even result. We recommend using a body scrub and exfoliating mitt, paying special attention to drier areas such as the feet, ankles, elbows, underarms, knuckles, and collarbones. The application may be performed with or without undergarments or a bathing suit. After your treatment, please wear loose, dark-colored clothing.
After Your Session:
- During the development period, avoid water, sweating, skincare products, and any activity that may affect the tan. If rain or snow is expected, please wear long, protective clothing. If sleeping with the solution on, long clothing is recommended. Your artist will advise whether to wait 1 to 5 hours or 8 to 12 hours before showering, depending on the solution used. For the first shower, rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. Soap is not recommended for the initial rinse. To prolong your results, moisturize daily and avoid excessive sweating, hot tubs, saunas, and frequent long showers or baths. Gentle shaving may be done as needed, but waxing should be avoided while the tan is visible.

Please avoid exfoliating while the tan is developing or visible. Once it begins to fade, exfoliate gently to remove any remaining residue and prepare the skin for your next application.
